Hard Launch Urethane Bushing Kit for (IRS)

Urethane Differential Mount Bushings are an excellent modification for the 99-04 IRS Cobra. High impact, silicone-impregnated, urethane bushing kits help remove wheel hop by reducing bushing wind-up and deflection. Shift feel and power transfer are also greatly improved.

This kit replaces the stock rubber bushings on the factory differential mount and are a must when upgrading the factory differential mount when installing our Hard Launch Cross-bar.

Aluminum Adjustable Launch Kit Bushing for (IRS)

Aluminum adjustable Differential Mount Bushings offers a dramatic reduction in wheel-hop under hard acceleration by eliminating the deflection that rubber bushings normally present. In addition, the zero-deflection aluminum bushing offers dramatically improved grip on corner exit or under hard launches at the drag strip. As an added value, the aluminum acts as a heat-soak to absorb heat generated by the rear differential.

The kit also has a series of shims which are built-in to the design, but can be removed one at a time allowing you to adjust the pinion angle to compensate for lowering the vehicle or to fine tune the drivetrain and eliminate unwanted vibrations. This kit replaces the stock rubber bushings on the factory differential mount and are a must when upgrading the factory differential mount when installing our Hard Launch Cross-bar.

RPM is proud to announce the introduction of the MOTOBLUE™ BILLET IRS COVER GIRDLE KIT.

MOTOBLUE™ BILLET IRS COVER GIRDLE KIT is designed to minimize IRS cast aluminum differential housing breakage do to sever duty and extreme hard launches!

Your Cobras IRS Differential cover is made of cast aluminum, providing strength without the weight of steel or cast iron. Yet cast aluminum is not as flexible as billet aluminum or steel, so when you push your Cobra to the limit in the corners and hard acceleration , you may be applying enough force to twist your IRS Differential cover beyond it's ability to flex. Repeatedly doing this causes the metal to fatigue and break away from it support loactions.

Whats the fix? The MOTOBLUE™ billet IRS cover girdle kit.

The MOTOBLUE™ billet IRS cover girdle kit is CNC machined from Billet 6061-T6 aluminum, provides 40% more points of attachment, yeilding greater strength and safety. Installation is straightforward using the supplied Grade 8 12-point fasteners, and the MOTOBLUE™ Engineers have even thoughtfully included a hole to permit easy access to the differential fill plug without the need to remove the brace.

The MOTOBLUE™ BILLET IRS COVER GIRDLE KIT comes complete with Grade 8 12-point fasteners and stainless steel washers. Installation time approximately 45 minutes. No modifications or alterations required for installation.
