Direct Replacement high flow catted crossover X-pipe So what's the advantage of installing a Pypes 2½ high flow catted X-pipe over other available models? Simply said, crossover X-pipes create more power and torque than traditional H-pipe or the so called "pro chamber" technology. H-pipes no longer operate above 3000 rpm and become a non-functional component. Pypes crossover X-Pipe feature 2½ mandrel bent, 409 Stainless Steel pipe designed to fit in the stock location.
