05-07 MUSTANG GT HD TUBULAR PANHARD RODS The pan-hard rod is responsible for locating the rear end side-to-side in the chassis. Factory pan-hard rods are made with small diameter tubing and rubber bushings that allow deflection under load. BMR pan-hard rods are all made from larger diameter 1.25", heavy wall DOM tubing and utilize either grease-able polyurethane bushings or HD spherical bearings by QA1. BMR CNC machined adjusters are made from 4130 chromoly and have rolled threads. All rod end spacers are 304 stainless. You won't find better quality pieces. By nature, a pan-hard rod will alter rear end position as ride height changes. This makes it necessary to use an adjustable pan-hard rod when lowering your vehicle as it allows you to re-center the rear end. Adjustable pan-hard rods also become a "must-have" part if you are trying to fit the widest tires possible in the wheel-well.

05-07 MUSTANG GT PANHARD RELOCATION KIT It has always been common practice to reinforce Ford's 8.8" rearend with a stronger, cast rear cover. Unfortunately, with the '05 model, the pan-hard rod prevents this. BMR has an easy solution. BMR relocation bracket moves the drivers side of the pan-hard rod to the back of the OE mount, providing 1" of additional clearance. Installation is simple and rear end geometry remains unaffected.

05-07 MUSTANG GT UPPER PANHARD ROD SUPPORT Since the pan-hard rod is responsible for keeping the rear end centered in the chassis, there is a significant load placed on the pan-hard rod mounts during cornering. Due to this load, Ford reinforced the mount with a vertical brace that parallels the pan-hard rod. Unfortunately this brace is little more than stamped, light gauge metal and does little for reinforcement. BMR boxed tube support reinforces this critical mount to prevent deflection and can be easily installed in less than 1 hour.
