We have invested many hours evaluating and refining each of the 4.0L V6 Mustang products on our MD Chassis Dyno, to ensure that we could develop as much power as possible, as safely as possible.

05-08 MUSTANG (all) TUBULAR LOWER CONTROL ARMS
The Stock control arms are
marginal at best. Bushing deflection combined with control arm flex creates erratic handling and inconsistent rear end
stability when subjected to the added loads of performance driving. BMR control arms utilize grease able polyurethane
bushings, CNC machined from 4130 chromoly with 304 stainless rod end spacers.

05-08 MUSTANG (all) CONTROL (bolt-on) ARM RELOCATION BRACKETS
A vehicles "Instant Center" determines it's ability to transfer weight properly upon acceleration.
The angle of the upper and lower control arms produces an intersect point that initiates the weight
transfer. With fixed control arm mounting points, it is not possible to tune this instant center position
in the chassis. BMR control arm relocation brackets provide additional rear mounting holes that allow
you to alter the instant center by varying the control arm angles. This mod is recommended for any type of
racing and should be performed if the vehicle is lowered to correct the rear suspension geometry. Mounting
hardware included.

05-08 MUSTANG (all) UPPER CONTROL ARM/CONTROL ARM MOUNT
The single upper control arm (3-link)is responsible for maintaining pinion angle, preventing axle counter-rotation.
3-LINK style suspension is ideal for autocross and road race applications as it allows the most articulation possible
with a solid axle. For drag racing, however, the single, centered link becomes the weak point as the arm is
only one inch thick in the middle and made from light gauge, stamped steel.
The BMR upper control arm is made from 3/16" CNC formed plate, TIG welded and gusseted completely around the bushing.
Available with polyurethane bushings or spherical bearings.

The 05-08 Mustang platform only has one upper control arm and the mount is only bolted into place.
BMR upper mount is made from heavy duty 1/4" plate with dual control arm mounting points for changing instant center.
BMR upper control arm mount is a direct replacement for the OE piece and requires no drilling or welding to install.

05-08 MUSTANG (all) DRIVESHAFT SAFETY LOOPS/TUNNEL BRACE
NHRA required for cars running 12.99 or quicker in the quarter mile. BMR manufacture their loops
out of NHRA legal 1/4" x 2" plate and both designs are true bolt-ons using existing mounting holes,
no welding or drilling required.
