What is the DiabloSport Predator?

The DiabloSport Predator is a state-of-the art, high performance tuning flash programmer in a sleek handheld design. Once connected to the vehicle, the Predators internal computer recognizes the vehicles PCM and automatically picks the proper tuning files designed specifically for that PCM. Inside the Predator's memory are the actual tuning files that optimize spark timing and air/fuel ratio curves giving your vehicle up to 3 MPG improved fuel economy. The transmission parameters are remapped to improve the shift characteristics such as shift firmness and shift points.

Unlike other 'tuners', DiabloSport's programming is performed in very small increments throughout the entire RPM range, for a smoother, wider and a more predictable power delivery. DiabloSport engineers spend many hours on the dyno, street and track to ensure the tunes provided with the Predator are the best they can be.

Custom Tuning is needed whenever you add certain aftermarket products. DiabloSport / SCT Standard default tunes are designed for stock/mildly modified vehicles only.

RPM Outlet understands that not every vehicle is identical and that some vehicles with certain modifications require special attention. The predator / SCT are set up to work with stock to mildly modified vehicles. Custom tuning is required for applications that exceed this. What is Stacking?

Stacking is the use of an inline programming device which remaps fuel curves and fuel pressure in diesel engines and a programmer which reprograms the PCM of the vehicle through the diagnostics port. The DiabloSport PowerPuck is an example of an “inline device” the DiabloSport Predator is an example of a “programmer”

How the Stack Works?

The Predator programmer and PowerPuck Module installation takes a total of about 25 minutes. Simply install the PowerPuck under the hood connecting it to the fuel rail pressure sensor and the MAP sensor with it's factory interlock connectors. Then run the toggle switch through the vehicle's firewall to have the switch on the fly ability on the puck. Finally, install the DiabloSport Predator's “Puck Tune” and DRIVE!
