We have invested hundreds of hours evaluating and refining each of the 5.4L engine and chassic products on our own MD-600 Chassis DYNO, and at race tracks coast to coast to ensure that we would develop as much power as possible, and as safely as possible.

LAKEWOOD Bolt-on TRACTION BARS This upgrade is a must for anyone wanting to put the power of their 99-04 Ford Lightning/Harley, F-150 2-Wheel Drive
Truck to the pavement. These bolt-on traction bars are made from heavy-duty boxed steel tube, are engineered to prevent wheel-hop,
and help keep the tires planted firmly to the ground while clearing the rear disc-brake calipers.
Engineered to eliminate spring wrap-up, wheel spin and wheel hop.

This Lakewood Bolt-on traction bar features black powder coated finish
for rust and corrosion resistance, and are built with high-strength
steel brackets and hardware to handle all the horsepower and torque
your truck can put out! Includes polyurethane snubbers bushings to absorb shock, and stays stiff for a solid firm launch.
Each kit includes replacement lower axle mount pads, 1/2" U-bolts, hardware and complete instructions.
Installation of this kit is quite simple includes all of the special parts needed and should take no more than 2 hours to complete.

COMPETITION ENGINEERING TWO DEGREE WEDGE PLATES;
97-04 Ford Lightning/Harley, F-150 2-Wheel Drive
Wedge Plates are used to adjust pinion angle or change traction bar angle on leaf spring equipped cars and trucks.
Unlike other wedge plates, Competition Engineering Two Degree Wedge Plates are designed with integral ribs, allowing plates
to be stacked without sliding. Constructed from 6063-T5 aluminum, these plates won't crack like other brands made out of
cast zinc. Sold in pairs.

The Slide-A-Link™ Bolt-on Traction Bars;
97-04 Ford Lightning/Harley, F-150 2-Wheel Drive
A revolutionary, completely "bolt-on" traction device, the Slide-A-Link™, designed for both street
and strip use is track tested and competiton proven to outperform conventional "Slapper" bars.
This solid mounted front plate is installed inside the original front spring pocket and clamps to the leaf spring
to provide a positive displacement for the torque that is transmitted from the rear axle through the telescoping
bar and special durometer shock pad. Free travel and pre-load adjustments are made on the truck by adjusting the
jack screw at the rear of the bar. Each kit includes replacement lower axle mount pads, 1/2" U-bolts, replacement
aluminum front spring eye bushings, hardware and complete instructions.
