AFCO PRO SERIES HEAT EXCHANGER
for the 99-04 SVT Lightning and 02-03 Harley Davidson Truck

COOLER INTAKE TEMPERATURES = MORE HORSEPOWER

Cooler intake temperatures mean more power. It is just that simple. However providing your engine with cool air to breath becomes even more difficult when forced induction is involved

Ford’s potent supercharged V8 is no exception. This is why ford designed a separate intercooling system for the supercharger on their popular F150 lightning and Cobra Mustang.

The ford system utilizes a heat exchanger mounted low in the front grill which is very similar to a small radiator. Coolant flows separate from the main engine cooling system and circulates internally through the intercooler beneath the supercharger.

While the factory supercharger cooling system is adequate in stock configuration, it struggles to keep up with the multitude of popular modifications that not only deliver more power, but also increase the stress to the intercooler system.

To combat the power loss by excessive heat build up in the supercharger and intake system, AFCO focused on upgrading the weakest component of the cooling system. THE HEAT EXCHANGER.

AFCO NEW PRO SERIES HEAT EXCHANGER 99-04 SVT Lightning and 02-03 Harley Davidson Truck

RPM Outlet is proud to announce the release of AFCO’s new Pro Series Heat Exchanger for the 99-04 SVT Lightning and 02-03 Harley Davidson Truck.

The latest in cooling technology made available by AFCO. AFCO’s 80249N-FS Heat Exchanger is a replacement for the factory Ford heat exchanger in the `99-`04 Lightnings. The AFCO PRO SERIES design is over twice the thickness of the stock unit and has an increased height of 8 3/4” and width of 26 3/8”.

The AFCO PRO SERIES unit also incorporates a new double pass design utilizing a 360 degree welded baffle to prevent any internal coolant bypass. The baffle forces coolant through the top half of the heat exchanger and then the bottom half, giving the heat exchanger the opportunity to dissipate heat twice. Using this unit provides a cooler, more stable coolant temperature to the intercooler even when the engine is being pushed to it’s limits. This provides more consistent performance on the street and lowers ET times at the strip.

The AFCO PRO SERIES also offers optional twin 12-volt 800+ CFM high-flow fans and a custom built aluminum fan shroud that is controlled by a thermal switch that activates automatically when fluid temperatures reach 160 degrees, enhancing the ability of the unit to cool even when the vehicle is stopped or in slow moving traffic. This design is a true bolt-in performance upgrade–no modifications to the vehicle are necessary. Installation time is around 30 minutes with normal hand tools.


The Original AFCO Heat Exchanger is the only heat exchanger available on the market that does not require ANY modification to install. All AFCO Heat Exchangers are Furnace Brazed eliminating sealing problems and need the use of epoxy on tanks. All AFCO Heat Exchangers utilize 16 Fins per Inch Core for more airflow to provide increased cooling.

Each AFCO Heat Exchangers Kit is individually designed for each vehicle to produce maximum efficiency and performance and come complete with and all the necessary hardware.

Installation time is ½ hour with normal hand tools.

CANTON Aluminum Supercharger Surge Tank Upgrade Kit

The CANTON Aluminum Supercharger Surge Tank eliminates the factory supercharger surge tank and replaces it with a larger capacity storage reservoir that holds approximately 940% more storage volume over the stock Supercharger surge tank.  CANTON Supercharger Surge Tank 
Upgrade KitThe low volume stock surge tank arrangement can become quickly heat soaked in extreme duty or hard repeated acceleration applications. Increased intercooler temperature reduction is now possible with this increased coolant volume.

CANTONS Aluminum Supercharger Surge Tank simply mounts in factory battery location and will require your battery to be relocated to rear of your vehicle. Relocate your battery to the trunk will improve traction and overall handling of your vehicle.

When tested on a 4-wheel digital scale it was found that moving a 35 pound battery from the right front of the car to the right side of the trunk actually will put 60 pounds on the right rear tire - where you need it most for traction. Relocate your battery to the trunk will also reduces "nose dive" during braking and noticeably improve the handling response.

Components required to relocate the battery in the trunk can be purchased separately or can be purchased as part of our basic installation kit. Additional optional parts such as, NHRA legal disconnect switch, switch, extended length rubber hoses, and hose clamps may be also required to complete the installation.

Snow Performance Boost Cooler
Water/Methanol Injection Systems

Snow Performance's Boost Cooler System is an alternative, addition to traditional intercooled turbocharger, supercharged, and nitrous oxide-fed powerplants. Snows water-methanol injection controls detonation by cooling the inlet-air charge. Water basically cools the intake charge and combustion process. Methanol works as a cooling agent, but also serves as an extremely high-octane fuel. With an oxygen-heavy, denser charge and more ignition timing, horsepower gains can be impressive, thanks to the mist of this simple mixture.

Methanol Injection suppresses detonation so more power can be utilized as with any intercooled system. Water, with its high latent heat of vaporization cools the intake charge and combustion. Methanol cools the charge and combustion but also acts like an extremely high octane fuel (some researchers claim as high as 120 octane) as well as adding more oxygen to combustion.

   Stage 1 Boost Cooler™ Gasoline :
    The gasoline Stage 1 Boost Cooler™ kit is available for forced induction applications that are either fuel injected or carbureted. Operation is very simple: the system starts injecting when the boost switch reaches the user-adjustable point and it injects a fixed amount of fluid through the nozzle until the switch opens again. This makes it a good choice for low to medium boost setups looking for an octane enhancement and cooler intake charge. Activation can also be set up through any other user-chosen switch, such as a full throttle micro-switch, etc.

Snow Performance
   Stage 2 MAF Boost Cooler™ :
    This kit uses the 0 to 5 Volt output signal from the Mass Air Flow sensor on fuel injected vehicles. This means that any vehicle with a MAF (with a 0-5V output signal) can use this kit, whether they are naturally aspirated or forced induction.

    If the application is forced induction, it can be used with very fast-spooling turbos, or positive displacement blowers. It is easier to set up with the positive displacement blowers with a MAF signal because it is more progressive in nature vs. the boost pressure signal (stage 2 boost cooler™ kit) on those applications. This allows for the most accurate injection possible over the widest range. The result is the most power and driveability possible. This system comes with Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Snow Performance
   Stage 2 Boost Cooler™ :
    This kit uses manifold boost pressure to determine when and how much fluid to inject. Proportionally injecting according to boost pressure gives the most accurate delivery of water-methanol and allows the most cooling and performance improvement over the widest range. More power and driveability is the result.

    It can be used on any forced induction engine: carbureted, fuel injected, turbocharged, positive displacement or centrifugal blowers. The most suitable are the centrifugal supercharged and turbocharged engines, as they build boost is a more progressive manner concerning water-methanol injection. The positive displacement blower engines will work, but it might take more work to dial in the delivery. For higher boost applications (over 25psi), the controller can be upgraded to the snow VC100 unit. This system comes with Limited Lifetime Warranty.
