STRATEGY
In keeping with our goal of providing our customers with the best possible value, we have tested a large group of components specifically designed for the 99-04 SVT Lightning and 02 - 03 Harley Davidson Truck.
We have invested hundreds of hours evaluating and refining each of the 5.4L engine and chassic products on our own MD-600 Chassis DYNO, and at race tracks coast to coast to ensure that we would develop as much power as possible, and as safely as possible.
End result is our now available "Dyno Tuned Options".

CRANE CAMS® New Z-cams™
Crane Cams called upon their more than 40 years of computer aided cam lobe profile design experience in developing new Crane Zcams for popular V-8 engines.
Crane's lobe profile engineering group developed tested the Zcams and found that they remarkably exceeded the performance of the highly successful Crane PowerMax' series.
Simply put, Zcams' function like a much 'bigger' cam (greater duration) yet they increase low-end and mid-range torque in the most often used rpm range. All Zcam profile increases the rate of acceleration during the cycle in which the valve is opening and as it approaches maximum valve lift. At max lift the Zcam then returns the valve to its seat, but only after maximum flow and cylinder filling has been achieved.
Peak horsepower and torque output are enhanced throughout the entire rpm range! New Crane Zcams' were also designed to minimize horsepower-robbing harmonic frequency pulses when matched with the recommended valve springs.

CRANE CAMS VALVE SPRING KITS FORD FORD 4.6/5.4L, 2-Valve
When it comes to valve springs and titanium retainers, there is no better choice. CRANE CAMS design engineers took the engines rpm capability,
lightweight valve train, durability and other unique features, and designed the ultimate modular valve springs. CRANE CAMS valve springs are made
from a high tensile, super clean, chrome silicone material, the retainers are steel. In fact, the single beehive
shaped spring uses the same manufacturing process for either their low-pressure street spring or their limited street and race spring.
The springs are designed to work with cams up to 0.625" lift, and fit stock pockets without any machine work. These springs and retainers
are a perfect compliment for the CRANE CAMS Camshafts.
