We have invested many hours evaluating and refining each of the 4.6L products on our chassis “dyno”, to ensure that we could develop as much power as possible, as safely as possible.

QA1’s tubular K-members are designed from the ground up for weight savings, improved geometry and as a bolt-in swap for the factory K-member.

All mounting points have been digitally indexed from new, factory

by design.
- Increased Header Clearance
Header and oil pan clearance maximized for easier maintenance

Spring perches are removable for extra weight savings when using
coil-over kits. Stock or aftermarket a-arms can be used.
- Improved Geometry
Bump steer, anti-dive and Ackerman angles have been improved for
maximum performance. If car has been modified, may cause tire to
fender clearance issues.

QA-1 Struts & Shocks, Bump Steer Kits
QA-1 MUSTANG FRONT STRUTS (no sleeves required)
- 100% Aluminum Body
3 lbs. lighter (each) than any other strut available, precision machined for perfect piston
bore fit, black-hard anodized inside and out for incredible strength and durability, fully
threaded for easy coil-over conversion.
- Exceptional Piston Rod Design
Piston rod goes completely through the body and is supported on both ends for greater
strength and more consistent valving. Piston rod bind is eliminated.
- Externally Adjustable Valving
10 full sweeps of rebound valving. Changes are accomplished from under the hood for
easy access. One knob allows for quick and precise valving changes from street to
strip to road racing.
- Monotube Design
The large body and monotube design provide for the use of a larger piston and greater
fluid volume. More fluid means lower temperatures and the larger piston allows for
greater fluid control for more consistent valving.
- Easy Bolt-In Installation
The Mustang struts are a direct replacement for the factory struts. They can be used
with or without coil-over kits. |

QA-1 MUSTANG STOCKER STAR® (rear) Shocks
With the 1979 to present Mustangs one of the most popular performance cars ever
built. QA1 has built a rear shock in the Stocker Star® line designed specifically for the
Fox, SN95 and S197 chassis, including the Cobras. The Mustang Stocker Star® rear
shock is built to handle it all, from drag and road racing to the rigors of everyday use.
With 576 valving options on the double adjustable shocks, and 12 valving options on the
single adjustable shocks, you can easily fine tune compression and rebound to
accomplish incredible performance. These shocks are revalveable and rebuildable.
QA-1 Mustang STOCKER STAR® Single Adjustable - 12 valving options
Simultaneous Compression and Rebound Adjustment
- 12 Valving Options, One knob changes both compression and rebound valving simultaneously, allowing total suspension control in one easy-to-reach location.
QA-1 Mustang STOCKER STAR® Double Adjustable – 576 valving options
Truly Independent Compression and Rebound Adjustment
- 576 Valving Options Includes 24 positions of compression adjustment on one knob, and 24 positions of rebound adjustment on the other knob. Each knob is clearly labeled for ease
of adjustment.

QA-1 BUMP STEER KIT
Changing suspension components sometimes leads to bump steer or unwanted toe
change during suspension travel. Correct this problem with QA1’s new Bump Steer
Kit. This kit features QA1’s premium chromoly steel, heat treated, self-sealing and
self-lubricating X series rod ends and an aluminum anodized adjusting sleeve.
Easy installation.
QA-1 Bump Steer Kit contains: -
- (2) QA1 X series rod ends with jam nuts
- (2) Anodized aluminum adjusting sleeves with jam nuts
- (2) Special designed spindle studs (no drilling required) with washer and lock nut
- Assortment of bump steer spacers
*A qualified alignment shop should be used for final adjustment of all vehicle
suspension settings.

QA-1 Caster/Camber Plates & Coil-Over Conversions
QA-1 Caster/Camber Plates Innovation At Its Best
Problem: Typical caster/camber plates use
a standard COM type bearing in the housing. This
bearing is not optimum for this type of application and
will usually wear and become sloppy in a short
amount of time.
Solution: QA1 once again leads the industry by
developing a specifically engineered asymmetric
bearing for caster/camber plate applications.
Through this innovative design, the bearing allows
for improved load distribution that significantly
reduces wear and increases durability eliminating
"sloppy bearings" which result in road noise and
poor handling characteristics.
QA1’s high quality caster/camber plates for race
applications offer many features not found in other
brands. For example, the bearing housing is
tig-welded for the utmost in strength and durability.
This kit provides caster and camber changes for the
ultimate in adjustability.
