We have invested many hours evaluating and refining each of the 4.6L products on our chassis “dyno”, to ensure that we could develop as much power as possible, as safely as possible.

RAM Clutch Systems

 When it comes to putting a lot of horsepower to the ground manual transmission mustangs, need a quality clutch assembly to get the engine’s power consistently to the ground. We tested several popular clutch kits and come up with one manufacture that stood above the others.
We chose RAM Clutches, RAM Clutches utilize the proper balance of static pressure and friction materials to insure the clutch will hold the power and engage SMOOTHLY.
They are available in 3 stages and now the new street dual system to suit the 700+ to 1500 hp supercharged/turbo applications. RPM Outlet stocks stages 1, 2, 3 the new street dual system to suit the needs of most customers. Other stages are available by special order. Most clutch kits include a new pressure plate, clutch disc, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool; everything you need for a complete professional installation. Steel or Aluminum Flywheel?
The flywheel is the foundation of the clutch system; it stores the energy that determines the amount
of power available when you launch your car. The steel flywheel stores more energy as it spins than an Aluminum flywheel. If your engine
and gearing combination requires more power or inertia to make the car launch without bogging the motor, you will want the steel flywheel.
The billet aluminum flywheel creates less inertia at launch and will require a higher RPM but will accelerate quicker through the gears.
All billet flywheels are CNC machined from certified material and exceed all
SFI specifications. |

RAM Clutch Street Dual System
Introducing the new RAM Street Dual clutch system. Finally you can have the street driveability for your high horsepower street and track car.
RAM Clutches proudly introduces the dual disc clutch system for your high perormance vehicle. The assembly consists of an aluminum flywheel,
easy pedal effort diaphragm pressure plate, 300 series friction material, and a special floater plate retainer system that virtually eliminates
floater plate rattle. The holding capacity for this clutch is in excess of 900 ft/lbs, yet the engagement is silky smooth thanks to the 300
series friction.
Now, you do not have to deal with on/off switch clutches for your high-horsepower street machine! The systems work with mechanical linkages on older cars and hydraulic and cable systems.
Installation of this kit is quite simple includes all of the special parts needed and should take no more than 3 hours to complete.
