In 2002, Ford completely redesigned the mass airflow unit for the Mustang. The new unit continued to measure in at 80mm, but with an integrated air temperature sensor and different flow characteristics. Through Dyno testing and the development of an all-new replacement MAF housing, C&L is now able to introduce a new MAF package for 03-04 MACH I Modular Mustangs. Similar to our popular kits for the 1996-2004 GT Mustangs, the new kit #10699m1 comes complete with a new 85mm MAF housing, K&N air filter assembly and NEW plastic shield to hold the assembly in place and draws cold air from the factory shaker.

Dyno testing has shown this package to consistently deliver an average increase of 9 HP from 3000 RPM to redline with an average torque gain of 9, and a peak horsepower gain of as much as 14 between 5500-5700 RPM.

The TrueFlow inlet pipes is now available for the 03-04 MACH 1. This inlet assembly offer three key features which have made them a very popular bolt-on for use with or with out a wide variety of air meters. The cast aluminum finish with blue silicone hoses really dress up the engine compartment and are much more attractive than the factory black rubber assembly. Due to the fact that these pipes are cast, the inside diameter is consistent all the way through the pipe from the air meter to the throttle body and this is what gives it the name "TrueFlow". By eliminating the flexible ridges in the factory rubber inlet tubes and by controlling the inside diameter for consistency, a modest horsepower gain is achieved.

Most vehicles will receive approximately 3 rear wheel horsepower, however several tests have been reported to show as much as 5 horsepower on some applications.
