The heart and soul of chassis support is the Matrix System which consists of the Super Subframe Connectors, Jacking Rails and the Extreme Matrix Brace. The Subframe Connectors tie the front and rear subframes together, the Jacking Rails (very handy when jacking up lowered cars) run along the outer rocker pinch-weld and the Extreme Matrix brace connects the two with 4 full triangulations per side. (Remember that triangulation is the lightest and strongest engineering structure.) The Extreme Matrix system basically puts a mini-frame under the center of your car.

Our Extreme MATRIX Sub-frame System consists of the following.

    Double-cross Subframe Connectors
  • The Double-cross tie the front and rear sub frames together. Adds additional strength and tensional rigidity to the chassis that further reduces twisting action and helps extend the life of the floor pan.
    Jacking Rails
  • Originally designed to add structural rigidity while providing convenient hard points along the side of the car for NASCAR style tire changes. Advanced engineering has made the jacking rails an integral part of the Extreme Matrix Sub frame System.

    Extreme Matrix Braces
  • Extreme Matrix Braces tie this system together; if you have a convertible this system is mandatory for body strength and chassis longevity. The Extreme Matrix Brace acts as a bridge between the jacking rails and the Double Cross Super Sub-Frame Connectors to take chassis stiffness to a new level. This is the foundation for the stiffest Sub-frame system on the market.

KENNY BROWN Super Subs are zinc chromate plated to help prevent rust. Great for convertibles, T-tops, competition or extreme use. The Double-Cross™ subframe connectors improve handling, feel, weight transfer and extend the life of the car by reducing power-robbing chassis flex and strengthening the unibody. The Double-Cross™ subframe connectors is the heart of Kenny’s Mustang chassis support system, uniting together the front and rear subframes, to strengthen the center of the car. An added feature to the subframe connectors is the unique Double-Cross™ design, which reduces twisting action and cuts the free span of the car in half by attaching the cross section of the subframe connectors to the strongest section of the midpan.

Lakewood Street/Strip Drag Shocks and Struts

Lakewood Industries, the leader in traction and suspension products, has combined its experience with the latest technology in drag shock design to develop a strut that has performance characteristics superior to any other drag struts available. Lakewood drag shocks are manufactured with only top quality components to ensure many years of consistent high performance. These drag shocks will provide excellent weight transfer on initial launch and bring the front end down quickly to avoid poor aerodynamics, resulting in lower ETs while keeping the rear suspension properly “loaded” for maximum traction.

As vehicle speed increases, the precision speed-sensitive valving begins to operate, making your vehicle safer and easier to control at the end of the track. Even under hard braking, you will notice less nose dive and better over-all stability at high speed. These struts will give superior drag strip operation as well as excellent street performance.

RST Twin-Disc Clutch Kit

Lakewood 90/10 Series Front (Race Only)

  • Will let front end rise quickly to provide as much weight transfer as possible to the rear wheels on initial launch. Works best on vehicles where maximum rear wheel traction is required. Caution: 90/10 front shocks are not for street use.

Lakewood 70/30 Series Front (Street/Strip)

  • Used for overall improved handling on the strip or when quick front end lift is not needed. Works best on medium to high horse power vehicles with wide tires, and low to medium horse power vehicles with slicks. This is the perfect shock for vehicles driven both on the street and on the strip.

LAKEWOOD Upper and Lower Control Arms, 96-04 MUSTANG (all)

Eliminate flex and wheel hop!

Upper and Lower Control Arms for 96-04 Mustangs. Specifically designed for Ford Mustangs, these Lakewood Heavy-Duty Rear Upper and Lower Control Arms eliminate flex that is common with stock OE control arms, thus greatly increasing traction by eliminating wheel hop. Both control arms are manufactured from heavy gauge square steel tubing utilize heavy gauge steel plate that is boxed formed and welded for additional strength.

Polyurethane bushings replace the soft factory rubber bushings to provide positive stability. These Lakewood heavy-duty rear suspension control arms are easily installed in the stock mounting location without any modifications required, and have a black powder coated finish for attractive appearance and corrosion resistance. Grease fittings are supplied for ease of lubrication.

A DriveShaft Safety Loop at a price you can afford!

A broken U-joint or driveshaft can cause heavy damage to the underside of your vehicle, sending the driveshaft flying, or allowing the driveshaft to drop down and dig into the pavement, flipping you over. The heavy steel structure of Lakewood driveshaft safety loops can prevent all that, by containing the driveshaft after a failure, allowing you to make a controlled stop with minimum drama. .

Made from 1/4" thick zinc-plated steel, this Safety Loop features easy bolt-on installation without modifications, and is both NHRA and IHRA legal.
