CENTERFORCE® Dual Friction Clutch Systems
(GM Application)

Are you putting a serious power to the ground!
Your manual transmission mustang need a quality clutch assemblies to get the engine’s power consistently to the ground. We have selected the following as excellent choices for you.

CENTERFORCE® utilize the proper balance of static pressure and friction materials to insure the clutch will hold the power and engage SMOOTHLY. Available in several levels to suit anything from Mild Street to 900+ hp racecars. RPM Outlet stocks CENTERFORCE® Dual-Friction and CENTERFORCE® DFX series to suit your power level. The entire clutch line line is also available by special order, Call our tech support staff for torque ratings and custom horsepower applications.


CENTERFORCE® DUAL FRICTION

The Centerforce Dual-Friction is engineered for those who are looking for the ultimate in street/strip with 450+HP holding power and performance without sacrificing pedal effort and driver control.

  • Centerforce Dual-Friction disc has a full facing on the pressure plate side for drivability and longevity, while a carbon composite puc style (segmented) facing is used on the flywheel side for a positive engagement and increased holding-capacity.

  • Centerforce Dual-Friction pressure plates feature their patented centrifugal weight system and specialized machining processes to provide a performance clutch that offers exceptional street characteristics, while offering outstanding holding-capacity and durability.
Up to 90% Increase in Holding Capacity Compared to Stock. This Centerforce Dual-Friction has been engineered primarily as a street clutch with vehicles that provide high boost or a 175+ shot of nitrous but limited to ot use in mild competition applications.

NOTE: The flywheel must be resurfaced when installing the clutch set to validate the manufactures warranty.

DFX BY CENTERFORCE®

The DFX BY CENTERFORCE® is the latest series of performance clutches from Centerforce that was designed to support 650+HP . Centerforce is proud to announce DFX as their competition-proven clutch package for high performance mustang applications. Each DFX clutch plate/disc and clutch kit are SFI Spec 1.1 approved. (required by all racing sanctioning bodies).

  • The DFX series friction disc utilizes a dual-segmented carbon composite lining for improved cooling and maximum torque capacity, while a carbon composite puc style (segmented) facing is used for a positive engagement and maximum holding-capacity.

  • The DFX series pressure plate retains an easy pedal effort, patented ball bearing actuated diaphragm, for smooth engagement, and utilizes Nodular Iron pressure plate rings and reinforcements designed to help prevent drive strap breakage and increased safety.
The DFX BY CENTERFORCE® allows the end user to tailor the performance and style of driving with different choices of clutches and clutch discs: From street/strip to full-on drag racing capability. NOTE: The flywheel must be resurfaced when installing the clutch set to validate the manufactures warranty.
